Tatters is a family run fabric and haberdashery store established in 1977.
We pride ourselves in the very large range of stock that we keep instore. As well as the traditional fabrics and trimmings we keep up to the minute on fashion trends for the young and the young at heart. For example this seasons trend for tartan is well catered for in Tatters. Another trend of this season is a “hairpiece” called a fascinator. Facinators are very popular for special occasions as an alternative to a hat and can be made up to your specifications, usually within a week. They start at £10 each- yes- bespoke for just £10. Please ring and ask for Jill to make sure she is around on the day you wish to call to discuss your requirements. Haberdashery covers a large range of products from Swarovski crystals to zips. If you are having trouble finding what you require try us, we offer a mail order service with carriage at cost.
